Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at the State Farmers Market in Raleigh. As a key member of our administrative office, you'll handle daily financial transactions, including bank deposits and processing invoices for payment. You'll also maintain confidential/financial/lease files and order supplies & services using e-procurement. Additionally, you'll prepare monthly reports and reconcile office staff's p-cards. Serves as HR liaison and enters time for Market staff. The position may provide assistance with market events. This role provides exceptional customer service to vendors, customers, and guests by answering phone calls and greeting them as they enter the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle daily financial transactions, including bank deposits and processing invoices for payment
  • Maintain confidential/financial/lease files
  • Order supplies & services using e-procurement
  • Prepare monthly reports and reconcile office staff's p-cards
  • Serves as HR liaison and enters time for Market staff
Requirements
  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma
  • Two years of related administrative experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Accounting practices and procedures
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience in purchasing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the Beacon SAP HR/Payroll software
  • General knowledge of office management
  • Knowledge of NC E-procurement
  • Knowledge of North Carolina Financial System (NCFS)

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $36,682 - $64,194 annually, based on education and experience.
