Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract for a Financial Analyst role in the education industry, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing financial matters, handling accounting functions, and ensuring the efficient operation of customer accounts.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the budget processes to ensure optimal allocation of resources
• Utilize CRM and Accounting Software Systems for processing and recording transactions
• Handle the auditing of financial documents and procedures to maintain compliance
• Execute accrival accounting methods for accurate financial reporting
• Manage federal grants and ensure adherence to grant management protocols
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain all customer credit records with high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required for this role.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is essential.
• Ability to perform a variety of Accounting Functions effectively.
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting principles is necessary.
• Experience in Auditing practices and procedures is a must.
• Understanding of Budget Processes and ability to manage the same.
• Familiarity with Federal Grant regulations and requirements.
• Previous experience in Grant Management is highly desirable.
