Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assembly Worker to join our team. You will be working in an assembly line process to perform one or more tasks in creating a cord set with a plug.

Responsibilities
  • Cut wires to length using a tape measure.
  • Stage cords on a tow line for subsequent process steps.
  • Use a variety of tools to strip insulation from the tip of the wire.
  • Crimp on copper or other types of connectors.
  • Place ends of wire into a jig to insert in a molding machine to install the plug on the end of the wire.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in assembly, general production, and packaging.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and reading a tape measure.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and handle material.
  • Experience with RF scanners and inventory management.
  • Basic math and documentation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Prior forklift experience is required.
  • Familiarity with computers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, though this is very infrequent.

You will perform job duties at various stations in one of five assembly/production lines. The materials you will handle include spools of wire, large bags of plastic pellets, and other components on skids and in boxes.
