Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This role is crucial in the real estate industry as it involves processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. You will have the opportunity to utilize software programs such as RealPage and AppFolio to carry out your tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process dual payee checks such as those for contractors and tenants.
• Regularly reconcile accounts payable accounts to maintain precise records.
• Set up and manage vendors, maintain W-9 forms, and ensure payment details are up-to-date.
• Ensure all payments adhere to company policies and real estate regulations.
• Support the month-end close process by assisting with tasks related to accounts payable.
• Use RealPage and AppFolio software programs for various accounting functions.
• Conduct regular check runs to facilitate timely payments.
• Code account information accurately for approved invoices.• Minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Proficient in Account Coding and Accounting Functions
• Strong understanding and experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with handling Approved Invoices and Check Runs
• Experience with RealPage and Real Estate Accounting is preferred
• Proficiency with AppFolio software
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
