Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Assistant for a short term contract employment opportunity based in AMERICAN CANYON, California. The HR Assistant will be part of our team in the Non-Profit industry. The role primarily involves supporting the HR team with daily tasks, digitizing employee records, and assisting with various HR functions.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with daily HR tasks and responsibilities as directed by the HR team.
• Managing employee records, including filing and assisting with the digitization project.
• Utilizing HRMS, ADP - Financial Services, and ADP Workforce Now for various HR tasks.
• Conducting About Time and ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode related tasks as required.
• Using Ceridian for various HR functions and tasks.
• Performing auditing tasks and conducting background checks.
• Assisting with Benefit Functions and providing excellent customer service.
• Using your skills in Auditing and Background Checks to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Handling any other duties as assigned by the HR Director and HR team.• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Human Resources role or similar.
• Proficiency in using HR software such as ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now is required.
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is necessary.
• Experience with Ceridian, HRMS, and About Time software is an advantage.
• Must possess strong auditing skills.
• Experience in conducting background checks is essential.
• Understanding and implementation of benefit functions are required.
• Exceptional customer service skills are crucial.
• Must have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-profit environment.
• Knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is required.
