Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations, ensure smooth workflows, and support their production goals. In this role, you'll oversee all aspects of warehouse activities, from managing inventory to optimizing processes, while ensuring a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision & Coordination: Lead and coordinate warehouse staff in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities, ensuring seamless operations.

  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular counts, audits, and reconciliations.

  • Shipping & Receiving: Oversee the receipt of incoming shipments, verify contents, and ensure timely processing of outbound orders.

  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and provide staff training on safety procedures and equipment.

  • Quality Control: Implement quality checks to ensure products meet company standards and customer expectations.

  • Workflow Optimization: Develop efficient warehouse processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and maximize space utilization.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to maintain safety and functionality.

  • Team Leadership: Set performance goals for the warehouse team, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct regular evaluations.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse operations.

  • Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication between the warehouse team and other departments, suppliers, and customers.

  • Problem-Solving: Address warehouse issues such as inventory discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or staffing challenges, and implement solutions.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, seek out process improvements, and implement strategies to enhance warehouse performance.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a salary, exempt Warehouse Supervisor role.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's or technical degree preferred.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience in delegation and managing cross-functional teams.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with inventory management and quality control.

  • Adaptability: Ability to handle unplanned events, changing priorities, and provide effective solutions.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Suite and warehouse management software; forklift experience preferred.

  • Reliability & Organization: Punctual, highly organized, and self-motivated with strong multitasking skills.
