A client of ours in Commercial Roofing is looking to hire a Service Coordinator. This is a direct hire position in Garland TX, fully on-site 40 hours/week.

Our client is preferably looking for someone with prior roofing or construction industry experience.


Here is an overview of job responsibilities for our service coordinator position:

 

  • Take inbound calls and emails for service/repair requests. Ask qualifying questions and create a service ticket for service and repair team.
  • Work with service manager to schedule repairs and keep customer informed about response time.
  • Issue purchase orders to service team for materials needed to complete repairs.
  • Create weekly time sheets for service crew of 6-8 members.
  • Take service reports created by service manager to create a detailed invoice. Forward invoice and report to customer.
  • Follow up with service customers for any delinquent AR.
  • Maintain/grow relationships with property managers and owners.
  • Spanish speaking a plus, but not required.


This job requires friendly and professional verbal and written communication skills. Construction industry experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills/time management skills are critical as there is quite a bit of autonomy with this position.

• Knowledge of Sage 100 software

• Experience in Commercial Roofing

• Familiarity with the Construction Industry

• Prior Construction Industry Experience

• Strong Customer Service skills

• Experience in managing Employee Timesheets

• Proficiency in handling Customer Invoices

• Experience in managing Purchase Orders
