Experienced SWPPP Compliance/Stormwater Compliance Inspectors
Our client is a progressive environmental consulting firm specialized in providing resilient and sustainable water infrastructure solutions. Their founding principle is to develop solutions that preserve the environment for future generations.
Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Lead SWPPP compliance inspections at select construction project sites; prepare and maintain compliance reports and related documentation.
Work with project managers on schedules, budgets, and workplans, and complete project tasks on time.
Qualifications and Skills
Specific qualifications and skills desired include, but are not limited to, the following:
BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering/Science.
3-5 years' experience, including: being on construction sites in QA/QC type role; familiar with reading construction documents and specs; and has general civil design experience and knows Erosion and Sedimentation Control (ESC) practices.
Familiarity with one, or more, of the following guidance documents is preferred: NYC's Stormwater Manual, NYC's Unified Stormwater Rule and Stormwater Permitting Process, NY's Stormwater Management Design Manual, DEC Construction General Permit, NY State Standards and Specs for ESC (Blue Book).
4hr DEC ES&C training and 40hr HAZWOPER training certifications.
Professional licensure or In-Training in engineering is desired.
Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Valid authorization to work in the US and a driver's license for driving to inspection sites are required.
