Payroll Specialist

Roseville, CA

Do you have five years of construction payroll experience? Do you have experience with certified payroll or union payroll processing? We are looking for a payroll professional for a wonderful team in Roseville, CA. If you are someone with at least five years of experience, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have experience working in the construction experience please apply today

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for construction employees, including validation of all inputs to employee payroll files.

  • Assist with external audits by providing supporting records and documentation.

  • Manage timekeeping system: enter and inactivate employees at hire and termination, handle timesheet submission and approval process.

  • Interpret payroll policies and procedures to company employees of all levels.

  • Handle payroll for union and non-union employees, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.

  • Track and process certified payroll reports for government contracts.

  • Manage payroll for multiple job sites, ensuring accurate allocation of labor costs to specific projects.

  • Coordinate with project managers to verify and reconcile hours worked on various construction sites.

  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, human resources, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in the construction industry.

  • Proficient with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to act strategically and analytically with process and control discipline.

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling employee information.

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
