Talent Acquisition Specialist I

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies for identifying and recruiting potential new permanent staff
• Establish and maintain relationships with various sourcing contacts including contract employment agencies and placement offices
• Oversee the process of screening, testing, and interviewing candidates in a detail oriented manner
• Conduct reference checks and communicate the status of the selection process to applicants
• Extend employment offers to candidates ensuring company standards are met
• Coordinate new permanent staff orientation, new supervisor on-boarding calls, and re-recruiting calls
• Respond to inquiries from associates, field recruiting, and applicants regarding staffing activities and career opportunities
• Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers to discuss staffing issues and evaluate interviewing effectiveness
• Ensure all positions are posted internally and externally, and routed accordingly
• Participate in special projects as needed and possibly act as project lead• Proficiency in supervising and overseeing various tasks within the recruitment department
• Demonstrated experience in managing hiring processes from sourcing to placement
• Capability to effectively communicate and negotiate with vendors
• Experience in coordinating and executing onboarding processes for new hires
• Strong networking skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships with potential candidates and hiring managers
• Proven ability to act as a liaison between various departments and stakeholders in the organization
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly convey information to candidates and internal teams
• Experience in staffing, including creating job advertisements and managing the selection process
• Proficiency in understanding and adhering to company policies and ensuring compliance in all recruitment activities
• Skilled in conducting interviews and evaluating potential candidates
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization
• Proven experience in talent acquisition, with the ability to identify and attract top talent
• Ability to lead special projects and initiatives related to recruitment and talent acquisition
• Experience in conducting reference checks and verifying candidate information
• Proficiency in developing and implementing sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates
• Understanding of recruiting processes and best practices, including AB testing methodologies
