Robert Half is seeking a Bookkeeper for our client in New Orleans, Louisiana. The selected individual will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities revolving around financial transactions, accounts management, and report generation. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:


• Establish a structured system for managing financial transactions, including the creation of a chart of accounts and defining bookkeeping protocols

• Verify, allocate, and post transactions to maintain accounts

• Conduct account reconciliations to balance accounts

• Ensure the general ledger is maintained and balanced

• File documents to maintain quality historical records

• Generate financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

• Create Accounts Receivable invoices, review received payments, and record deposits

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Payroll, and QuickBooks

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Demonstrated ability in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Proven experience in Bookkeeping

• Strong skills in Data Entry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of Payroll processes

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
