Exciting Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Highland Park, MI

Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a rewarding position in Highland Park, MI? We have a full-time role available for the 2024-2025 school year. This position involves providing essential speech and language services across a diverse K-12 caseload in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Highland Park, MI
Hours: 40 hours per week
Days: Monday through Friday
Start Date: August 2024
End Date: June 2025
Caseload: Approximately 45 students (half K-8, half high school)
Daily Schedule: 7:15 AM - 3:15 PM

Role Overview:

  • Position: Full-time role with responsibilities across multiple grade levels.
  • Caseload: Manage a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students, with duties divided between K-8 and high school students.
  • Focus: Provide comprehensive speech and language services including evaluations, IEPs, direct and indirect therapy, meetings, and consultations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments of students speech and language needs.
  • IEP Development: Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on developing and implementing individualized plans.
  • Therapy Services: Deliver direct and indirect therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
  • Consultations: Engage in meetings and consultations with teachers and parents to support student progress.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist License.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively work with students across a range of ages.
