Speech and Language Pathologist Position

We are seeking a certified speech and language pathologist to provide essential services to students in the Huron Valley Schools district.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
  2. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and other professionals
  3. Collaborate with speech and language cohort to ensure consistency in best practices
  4. Participate in the Building Education Support Team (BEST) to support the MTSS structure and proactive interventions

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in speech-language pathology
  • Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License
  • American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Michigan Academic Standards and district curriculum
  • Experience with progress monitoring and data-driven instruction
