One of California's largest law firms has an open position for experienced litigation docket specialist to join their headquarter Irvine offices. Our client is an AmLaw firm with multiple office locations across the country and specializes in corporate law and complex litigation across a variety of practice areas including intellectual property, commercial litigation, labor and employment, and government investigations and regulatory compliance. We are seeking candidates with recent experience providing complex docket support in a similar fast paced environment.

The incoming docket specialist will provide docket support to the firm's litigation practice groups on ongoing and pending litigation and trial matters. Core job responsibilities include:

  • Data entry using the firm's docket software application
  • Maintain quality control of data
  • Prepare routine and special request supports
  • Maintain calendars in compliance with matters litigated in California and Federal jurisdictions. Provide daily and weekly calendar reports.
  • Perform research related to litigation docketing and calendaring
  • Provide answers about court procedures, rules, and calculations of time
  • Assist with other administrative projects

Job Details



A minimum of 2 years of recent litigation docket support experience is required for consideration. Interested candidates must have strong familiarity with federal, California state, and local court rules and systems, excellent computer skills, and knowledge of litigation docketing and calendaring processes. Prior experience with Vision/Compulaw docketing experience is also helpful
