We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator in Carpinteria, California. The role involves coordinating administrative activities in compliance with various regulations and maintaining organized records in the education sector.


Responsibilities:

  • Foster and maintain relationships with campus partners to facilitate effective policy communication.
  • Keep informed about federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Manage a database to track disability accommodations and Title IX incidents.
  • Collaborate with other institutional offices for cohesive efforts.
  • Provide guidance on Title IX and ADA/Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
  • Ensure confidentiality and privacy of student records.
  • Distribute and manage compliance for Disabilities Accommodation Letters for enrolled students annually.
  • Conduct and document fair, timely investigations, maintaining comprehensive records.
  • Write detailed investigative reports outlining issues, policies, and supporting evidence.
  • Research and stay updated on academic and compliance regulations across various states.
  • Assist with confidential documents for the Board of Trustees.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include paralegal tasks.


• Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software

• Experience in answering inbound calls in a professional manner

• Familiarity with budget processes and financial management

• Expertise in calendar management

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong editing skills for reviewing and refining documents

• Knowledge of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accommodations in the workplace
