Job Description

We manufacture a variety of equipment for the food industry, including fryers, cookers, smokers, warmers, burger and chicken makers for restaurants and other distributors throughout the Midwest and country. The role involves performing assembly or subassembly operations to mass-produce products such as pressure fryers, ventless fryers, pressure smokers, broilers, filters, accessory items, and related foodservice equipment into a finished product.

Responsibilities
  • Frequently file, saw, deburr, and drill parts using hand or power tools.
  • Make final electrical checks, hydrostatic tests, assembly checks and fill out necessary paperwork and test sheets.
  • Load equipment on skids and move to shipping department for packing.
Essential Skills
  • 6 months - 1 year of assembly experience
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
  • Mechanical and electrical assembly experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Quality check skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Must be able to lift/carry 35 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for up to eight (8) hours at a time
  • Work involves the ability to sit, bend, kneel, squat, reach, push, pull, climb, etc.

Work Environment

1st shift: 6:30am-3pm. Overtime: Working 10-hour shifts currently. Saturdays are voluntary, with hours from 5:30am-10:30am. There is a $1 increase when you go direct. We have a total of 65 employees across departments such as weld, fab, grind/polish, assembly, shipping, blending, and quality. Our shop is clean and smaller, ensuring a comfortable work environment.
