Remote Intervention Specialist Job in Ohio Flexible Hours
Looking for a flexible, fulfilling remote teaching role? Ohio students need a Virtual Intervention Specialist to support their growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Special Education or Related Field: A Masters degree is preferred.
- Ohio Intervention Specialist Certification: Valid Ohio teaching license with an Intervention Specialist endorsement, in alignment with Ohio Department of Education licensure standards.
- IEP Development Experience: Proficiency in designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), with a focus on tailored accommodations and modifications.
- Virtual Teaching Experience: Proven ability to deliver remote instruction effectively, particularly with students requiring specialized support.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage and collaborate with students, families, and educational staff.
- Technology Proficiency: Skilled in using digital learning platforms and assistive technologies for effective virtual instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customized Learning Plans: Develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans using data-driven strategies that meet students' unique needs.
- Engaging Virtual Instruction: Create and deliver high-quality lessons in a virtual setting, adapting teaching strategies for diverse learning styles.
- Behavioral Support and Management: Use evidence-based behavioral interventions to foster a supportive online classroom environment.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as necessary to meet goals.
