We are partnering with a exceptional school district to find a contract Sign Language Interpreter for the school year. Job Description

This position involves working as a contract Sign Language Interpreter for the school year. You will be responsible for providing communication support services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. The ideal candidate should have a valid Sign Language Interpreter credential/license or be in the process of obtaining one in the state of practice.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Sign Language Interpreter within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
  • Valid Sign Language Interpreter credential/license or in process in state of practice
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire

Location and Salary

The position is located in Lakewood, WA, and the salary range is approximately $37.50 - $43.13 per hour on a local contract. This is a full-time position with 37.50 hours per week.
