Duties:

  • The Senior Industrial Engineer (Sr IE) supports and advances Operational Excellence throughout the Organization, utilizing intensive and diversified knowledge of industrial engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments, and leads initiatives to refine processes while reducing waste to yield efficiencies that deliver tangible benefits.

  • The Sr IE uses advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices to resolve issues related to safety, compliance, quality, delivery and/or morale.

  • The Sr IE observes the work, conducts time and motion studies, stratifies losses and performs root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • The Sr IE helps implement new and enhanced processes, technologies, policies, and standard work to deliver quality safely, in compliance and within cost and timeliness expectations.

  • Operate Analysis and efficiency studies in the LVD Design, Planning and additional studies thereafter.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field

  • Organizational: ability to prioritize, plan, and achieve set goals, often through others

  • Communication & collaboration: Formal and informal with all levels of employees and stakeholders; salesmanship, listening, interdependence

  • Interpersonal: emotional intelligence, negotiation, proactive, builds strong and lasting connections

  • Analytical & inquisitive: research, assess data, understand trends, analyze business performance, build clear understanding; solve complex problems

  • Leadership: ability to motivate, inspire, encourage and challenge team members

  • Industrial Engineering Practices

  • Proficient in Microsoft platform software, good mathematical ands quantitative skill

  • INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING

  • ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
