Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Lippitt, RI. As an SLP, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, helping them develop effective munication skills to enhance their academic and social success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prehensive evaluations of students' speech, language, and munication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students and track their progress consistently.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and home environments.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outes.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing valuable insights and remendations for students speech and language goals.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Rhode Island.
  • Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
