We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Johnston, RI. This position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours, allowing you to tailor your schedule while making a difference in students lives.
Job Description:
As an SLP, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. Your expertise will support their academic success and personal development in a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct therapy in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student performance.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current SLP license in Rhode Island.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply.
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
