Position: Remote Special Education Instructor Oklahoma (2024-2025 School Year)

Position Summary: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs? Were seeking an enthusiastic Remote Special Education Instructor for the 2024-2025 academic year. In this role, you will deliver personalized instruction and support through a virtual platform. Your tasks will include designing engaging and interactive lessons, utilizing digital tools to enhance learning experiences, and collaborating with students, families, and school staff to foster academic growth. A strong grasp of online teaching methods and digital communication is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Certification: Severe/profound certification is a plus but not required
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Core Duties: Must have experience in case management
  • Grade Levels: Primarily working with 9th and 10th graders
  • Student Caseload: Manage 25 students, including 8-9 with severe or profound needs (specific certification needed for direct work with these students)

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Certification: Valid teaching license in Oklahoma or a comparable state
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a teaching role
  • Skills: Proficiency with online teaching platforms and educational technologies
