Position: Remote Special Education Teacher Oklahoma (2024-2025 Academic Year)

Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a dedicated Remote Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This position offers the opportunity to provide specialized education to students through a virtual setting. Your role will include crafting interactive lesson plans, using online tools to support student learning, and working collaboratively with families and school staff. Expertise in digital instruction and virtual communication is essential for success in this role.

Position Details:

  • Certification: Severe/profound certification preferred but not essential
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Responsibilities: Case management experience required
  • Grades: Focus on 9th and 10th grade students
  • Caseload: 25 students, including 8-9 with severe/profound needs (special certification required for direct involvement)

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field
  • Certification: Current teaching license in Oklahoma or equivalent
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience
  • Skills: Proficiency with virtual teaching tools and technology
