Position: Virtual Special Education Teacher Oklahoma (2024-2025 School Year)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 academic year. This role involves delivering personalized instruction and support to students through online platforms. As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will develop engaging lesson plans, utilize digital resources to enhance student learning, and collaborate with parents and school personnel to foster academic success. Proficiency in using digital tools and online communication is crucial.

Role Details:

  • Certification: Preference for severe/profound certification, but not mandatory
  • Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Case Management: Experience required
  • Grade Levels: 9th and 10th grade students
  • Caseload: Approximately 25 students, with 8-9 having severe/profound needs (specialization required for direct work with these students)

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Certification: Valid teaching license in Oklahoma or comparable state
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
  • Skills: Proficiency with online teaching platforms and educational technology
