Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) to work district-wide with K-12 students. The successful candidate will provide specialized instruction and support to enhance the educational experience for students with visual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for visually impaired students.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.
- Provide consultation and training on visual impairment strategies.
- Maintain accurate billing and documentation for services rendered.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
- Certification as a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments or Blind and Vision Disabilities.
- State teaching certification required.
