Processing Assistant

We are offering a temp to hire employment opportunity for a Processing Assistant in Albany, New York. The role is based in the mortgage industry and will involve close collaboration with loan officers and processors. This is a part-time position at 25 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
• Provide efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer credit
• Resolve customer inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner
• Facilitate the collection of required documents from borrowers and applicants
• Dispatch documentation to appraisers and attorneys as needed
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, particularly over the phone
• Execute a variety of administrative tasks to support the team
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams for various job functions
• Manage inbound and outbound calls effectively
• Deliver high-quality customer service at all times.
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills and patience.• Proven experience in customer service, with an ability to resolve issues efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
• Experience with email correspondence, ensuring detail oriented and timely communication.
• Capable of handling both inbound and outbound calls, maintaining a positive and detail oriented demeanor.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, demonstrating the ability to create spreadsheets and perform complex calculations.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for managing emails, meetings, and calendars.
• Experience in creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, edit, and format documents.
• Experience in scheduling appointments, ensuring optimal time management and organization.
