DXP Enterprises, located on the Northwest side of Houston, TX is looking to hire a Director of Corporate Development for our Corporate office. The Manager in DXP's Corporate Development (CD) Department provides analytical support to key growth initiatives across the company's three business segments and five product divisions. Managers provide analytical support, financial analysis, and review for acquisitions and integrations. Managers will be expected to provide a range of analytical, financial modeling, research, and general support in all aspects of corporate development execution.
 

Responsibilities of the Director of Corporate Development include, but are not limited to:

  • Internal financial review of DXP Enterprises
  • Ad-hoc financial and business analysis
  • Drafting of transaction-related documents and memos
  • Research multiple sources for company, industry, and market information
  • Valuation analysis and financial modeling
  • Communicate financial information and complex strategic issues in a clear manner
  • Create business models and develop pro-forma financial models for acquisitions
  • Analyze company financial statements, investment profiles and cap tables
  • Assist in valuation analysis using comparables and discounted cash flow techniques
  • Support the creation and prioritization of the deal pipeline
  • Support through all transaction gates and approval processes from idea generation and inception to execution, closure and integration
  • Strategic fit, business opportunity analysis, and competitive landscape assessment
  • Assist in creating presentations
  • Provide support in negotiations, creation of Term Sheets and definitive agreements. Work with legal teams in creating transaction documents

Qualifications of the Director of Corporate Development include, but are not limited to:

  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience including time in investment banking, private equity, management consulting or relevant M&A transaction environments - Preference toward candidates with full cycle deal experience and investment banking experience
  • Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills including an emphasis on verbal and written communication skills
  • Acquisition purchase and integration experiences
  • Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Superior interaction skills
  • Self-starting, team player that can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-performance and fun work environment
  • A bachelor's degree with a preference towards Finance, Accounting, or Economics
