Job Details



We are seeking a passionate and experienced Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This role is crucial to the development and creation of our innovative lighting products. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our product development team, responsible for designing, testing, optimizing, and verifying the design of our products. With a strong focus on mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes, the Design Engineer will utilize their expertise in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design Review, and Design Optimization to ensure the highest quality of our products.

Responsibilities:
1. Participate in the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production, for our lighting products.
2. Utilize CAD and NX/Unigraphics software to design and develop innovative and efficient product designs.
3. Conduct design reviews and optimization processes to improve product performance and manufacturability.
4. Perform design testing and verification to ensure products meet all necessary specifications and regulatory requirements.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and sales to ensure product designs align with company goals and customer needs.
6. Implement and optimize Design for Manufacturing (DFM) strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in lighting product design and manufacturing processes.
8. Troubleshoot design-related issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a design engineering role within the manufacturing industry, preferably with a focus on lighting products.
3. Proficiency in 3D Modeling Experience (NX/Unigraphics) software.
4. In-depth knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design Review, and Design Optimization.
5. Experience in design testing and verification.
6. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical engineering principles.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
9. Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
10. Continual learner, staying current with technology trends and competitive products.
