Overview

Penn State University is seeking highly motivated and skilled students to join our team at the Meehl Innovation Commons in Erie, PA. As a Product Design and Development Engineer, you will work with entrepreneurs, inventors, industry professionals, professors, and other students on product development projects ranging from simple mechanical inventions to complex prototypes.

Estimated Salary: $25-$30 per hourJob Description

We are looking for individuals with broad engineering skills and interests who can work independently and as part of a team. Duties may include product development projects, machine build projects, 3D printing, machine maintenance, CAD work, presentations, tutorials, brainstorming sessions, meetings, record keeping, and general ingenuity. Availability for occasional travel is favorable.
