$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop designs in accordance with customer specifications.
  • To complete Design Verification Plans & Reports (DVP&R) and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA) plans to support design intent.
  • Support the design portion of projects by adhering to departments' New Product Introduction/TS processes and methods.
  • Support Project Engineers with effective design plans for new Control Module products.
  • Lead cost and design improvement projects to contribute to engineering productivity plans.
  • Effectively manage assigned projects based on cost and with an emphasis on meeting timeline requirements.
  • Work as a member of cross-functional teams to complete projects within schedule and on budget.
  • Develop formal product definitions and design constraints for company innovation products.
  • Collaborate directly with OEM customer engineering teams to develop concepts, designs, FMEA's, and build relationships.

About You:

  • Minimum B.S. degree in Plastic Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of plastic part design or automotive design experience desired.
  • MS Office proficiency and 3D modeling experience (NX/Unigraphics preferred).
