Qualifications
Required:
- 3 years experience as an MA.
- Certified MA.
- Certified Phlebotomist.
- Proof of immunizations/immunity: MMR, Hepatitis B, Tuberculosis, and COVID-19.
 
Preferred:
- Gynecology experience.
- Proficiency with computer technology, specifically Apple products.
- Experience with: EKGs, blood draws, assisting with procedures, routine and travel vaccinations, and home visits.
 
Job Summary
As a Medical Assistant in our personable, non-hospital environment, you'll provide world-class, comprehensive patient care while supporting teams of doctors and nurses. Your role involves diverse responsibilities, including assisting with blood draws, EKGs, vaccinations, and occasional procedures, as well as documenting patient interactions and therapies in electronic medical records. You may conduct home visits, cover for nurses within your scope, and correspond directly with patients to build trust. Success in this float role is measured by the quality of care and service provided, not by volume or time constraints. The ideal candidate possesses a strong client service attitude, adaptability to cover various roles, and a working knowledge of applicable Standards of Practice.
