Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHiring Burn Table Operators in Colorado Springs

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Burn Table Operator with basic CAD design abilities. The position starts with training on the 1st shift (5am-1:30pm) and then moves to the 2nd shift (1pm-9:30pm). Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing blueprints, work orders, and tooling instructions
  • Selecting the appropriate materials
  • Positioning workpieces and installing/aliging cutting blades
  • Adjusting controls and operating saws
  • Conducting quality control inspections

Additional duties involve equipment maintenance, diagnosing problems, handling materials, completing work order documentation, restocking materials, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Other tasks may be assigned by management.

Hard Skills:

  • Basic CAD design skills
  • Experience with Plasma Oxy burn tables
  • Ability to lift over 70 pounds

Job Type: This is a 6-month contract position.

Work Site: This role is fully on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Work Environment: The job is in an industrial shop and warehouse setting, with no air conditioning or temperature control. The environment is loud, with overhead cranes. Overtime is available and expected.
