Behavior Interventionist - Mesa, AZ

I am seekinga dedicated Behavior Interventionist to play a crucial role in supporting students' behavioral and social-emotional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the behavior specialist or school psychologist to address individual student needs.
  • Provide direct support and guidance to students in managing behaviors and developing positive social skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans across settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress and behavior data to evaluate intervention effectiveness.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed to maintain a safe learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
  • ADE certificate.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or behavioral settings.
