We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations. Under the direct supervision of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining food safety, product specifications, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards in a fast-paced, food production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use proper PPE and adhere to OSHA guidelines.
  • Perform daily GMP monitoring, including checklist completion.
  • Conduct environmental swabs as specified in ATP sampling procedure.
  • Analyze product specifications and document results per customer requirements.
  • Ensure all products meet customer specifications.
  • Review Non-Conforming Products and complete Non-Conforming Holds.
  • Inspect raw materials and report any issues.
  • Report open cooler and facility doors showing gaps of light.
  • Verify HACCP and Metal Detector checks are completed accurately and timely.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist in controlling waste.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, meeting attendance and performance standards.

Qualifications:

  • GED or equivalent (some college preferred).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written communication skills desired).
  • Minimum 2 years of QA experience in food manufacturing or a related industry is preferred.
  • Ability to complete paperwork in a neat and timely fashion.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment (35&degree;F consistently).

Schedule:

  • 1st: 5:00 A.M - 4:15 P.M
  • 2nd: 4:00 P.M - 2:30 A.M
