Manufacturing Office Clerk
Job Description
The Manufacturing Office Clerk supports the daily operations of the manufacturing department by performing a wide range of administrative tasks. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate production and inventory records, processing manufacturing orders, and ensuring effective communication between the manufacturing team and other departments. The Manufacturing Office Clerk also assists with document management, inventory control, and general administrative duties, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the manufacturing process.

Office Assistant Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)
Data Entry and Record Keeping:
· Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of production orders, work orders, and inventory movements.
· Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
· Accurately enter production data, inventory levels, and other manufacturing metrics into the database.
Document Management:
· Organize and maintain files for manufacturing documents, including production records and operator’s paperwork.
· Assist in preparing and distributing manufacturing documentation, such as machine production logs, load tags and skid tags.
Inventory Management:
· Assist in monitoring inventory levels and notify the Supervisor and Manager of any shortages or discrepancies.
· Help conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Continuous Improvement:
· Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.
· Assist in the development and implementation of new data collection methods and technologies.
Quality Assurance:
· Monitor and report on product quality data, including defect rates and rework instances.
· Work with quality control teams to investigate and resolve data discrepancies or quality issues.
· Ensure data integrity by regularly auditing data entry processes and correcting errors as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
· Provide general administrative support to the manufacturing team.
· Act as a liaison between manufacturing, quality control, supply chain, and other departments to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
· Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide data insights and support decision-making processes.
Safety and Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards in all clerical task
Office Assistant Shift Info
Night Shift, 10PM to 5AM
Monday - Friday
Office Assistant Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)
· Previous experience role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly and concisely.
· Proficiency in data management software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Access, ERP systems)
· Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Able to work in the US
