Social Worker/Therapist (Accepting Unlicensed) - Sevierville, TN

Shifts: Days (Sunday to Thursday) (1 pm to 9 pm)
Position Summary: The Therapist is responsible for providing therapy sessions for families, individuals, and groups. The Therapist is responsible for assessing the individual and family's therapeutic needs and developing appropriate treatment objectives and monthly treatment summaries.
Job Requirements:
· Must have a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, or another related field, and be actively pursuing licensure from the state, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LMHC.
· Experience working with an emotionally dysregulated population which preferably would include young adults and adults in the mental health or education fields.
· Must have knowledge of human development over the life span.
· Requires valid State Driver's License and current CPR certification.
Position Responsibilities:
· Demonstrates a high level of clinical skill in assessing the clinical needs of residents, determining appropriate interventions, and conducting therapy in accordance with these needs.
· Conducts individual therapy sessions for each resident on caseload at least one (1) time per week as part of the therapeutic process.
· Conducts specialized groups as assigned based on education, training, and experience. Supervises or co-leads groups with staff or interns when appropriate.
· Select appropriate interventions to meet the clinical needs of individual residents.
