Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract for a Sr. Accountant position in Concord, California. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be an integral part of our team, with responsibilities including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with the Accounting Manager and other team members to assist with the company’s accounting function
• Assist with the month-end close process, which includes preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and variance analysis
• Manage and maintain capitalized software and fixed assets subledger
• Ensure all procedures are well documented and completed in a timely manner for your areas of responsibilities
• Participate in optimizing and designing process improvements of the GL accounting system (NetSuite)
• Provide necessary audit supporting documents for annual audits
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Undertake ad hoc projects and analyses as directed by the management.• Candidate must possess at least 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a crucial requirement for this role.
• The candidate must have experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is necessary for this role.
• The candidate should be skilled in handling General Ledger operations.
• The ability to efficiently manage Journal Entries is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for this role.
• Experience in Month End Close operations is a significant requirement.
• The candidate must be familiar with the NetSuite software.
• The candidate should have experience in Audit procedures.
• Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus for this role.
