Patient Access Representative

Description:
In this position you will perform general patient access and registration duties in "EPIC", such as, answer telephones, make appointments, process referrals, maintain provider templates and appointment schedules, verify patient demographics and insurance coverage. This position will be primarily supporting the Primary care Call Center.

Work From Home Requirements:
A connection with 20Mb+ download and 8Mb – 10Mb upload speeds is REQUIRED.

Workspace:
• Employees who work from home are required to have a quiet and private workspace in the home. We must protect PHI (Patient Health Information) at all times.
o Telecommuting should not be viewed or used as a substitute for dependent care. To dedicate full attention to work duties, telecommuters must make regular dependent care arrangements while telecommuting.
o This is a remote work opportunity, but not suitable for nomadic employment. Candidates must reside in Washington or Idaho during their contract for employment with Kaiser Permanente and cannot travel with their equipment.
• Kaiser Permanente supplies all home agents with a computer, two monitors, keyboard, mouse, headset, and web cam.
• Agents are expected to join training and scheduled meetings with camera on
