Insight Global is seeking a Help Desk/Service Desk Technician to join our large data center client's team This onsite role is crucial as you will be the first line of support for approximately 20 internal Switch employees at our client's Grand Rapids location.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a help desk or deskside support role (private or public sector)
  • Active A+ certification
  • 1+ years of experience supporting and troubleshooting Mac/Apple products (approximately 20% of their machines)
  • Role involves 50% help desk and 50% deskside support
  • Strong culture fit and excellent customer service skills, as you will be supporting internal Switch employees

 

Additional Information: Employees are on call once every 13 weeks, from 8 AM Monday to 8 AM the following Monday.

 

Compensation: $20/hr to $23/hr.

  • Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
  • Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
