Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH is partnering with a manufacturing firm that is seeking a temporary to hire Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in our finance department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This position is responsible for managing various accounting tasks, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accountant experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting. It would be an added bonus if the candidate had knowledge of Sage Intacct software. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all entries.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and other necessary adjustments.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and review account analysis and variance explanations.
  • Assist with audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Utilize Sage Intacct software for all accounting functions and maintain proficiency in its use.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct software is required.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
