HR Director

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor law, conflict resolution, and employee relations, with a proven track record of fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals, ensure compliance with labor laws, and address labor relations concerns.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Conduct regular assessments of employee morale and implement strategies to address concerns.
- Develop and maintain effective labor relations strategies to promote positive relationships between management and employees. Negotiate collective bargaining agreements and work collaboratively with union representatives.
- Oversee the grievance process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of employee complaints. Facilitate communication between involved parties to address issues and foster a culture of transparency and trust.
- Develop and facilitate training programs for management and staff on labor relations, conflict resolution, and grievance handling to ensure understanding and adherence to policies.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and assess their impact on company policies and practices.
- Analyze HR metrics related to labor relations and grievances to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, promoting professional development and ensuring effective HR service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Compensation:
This opportunity offers an annual salary from $140,000 - $170,000 depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K and more
