HR Director

We are seeking an experienced HR Director to join our team at Scion Staffing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with our client's goals and ensure compliance with labor laws.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor law, conflict resolution, and employee relations, with a proven track record of fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, conducting regular assessments of employee morale and implementing strategies to address concerns.
- Negotiate collective bargaining agreements and work collaboratively with union representatives to promote positive relationships between management and employees.
- Oversee the grievance process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of employee complaints, and facilitate communication between involved parties to address issues and foster a culture of transparency and trust.
- Develop and facilitate training programs for management and staff on labor relations, conflict resolution, and grievance handling to ensure understanding and adherence to policies.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, staying updated on changes in labor legislation and assessing their impact on company policies and practices.
- Analyze HR metrics related to labor relations and grievances to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, promoting professional development and ensuring effective HR service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Compensation:
This opportunity offers an annual salary from $140,000 - $170,000 depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K and more.
