We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) Specialist for a 3-month full-time contract. The candidate will be vital in helping implement and refine our MRP system. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing engineering and a willingness to work on-site.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the MRP system in close collaboration with our technical consultants and manufacturing team.
  • Author comprehensive system documentation to train users and ensure optimal utilization of the MRP system.
  • Improve Bill of Materials (BOM) data to meet the system requirements, collaborating closely with the Standards and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
  • Design a documented workflow for the supply chain to manage the MRP process efficiently.
  • Generate meaningful material requests output for Production Control and Purchasing department.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and customize the system to meet these requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply chain, Operations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with MRP systems in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to design, implement, and manage workflow processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across various teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.

Please note that this is a full-time, onsite position – 100% in Alameda, and the selected candidate will have to be available to start from January 6, 2025.
