Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Salem, MA. This full-time position involves providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to students with special needs, working under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support their educational and developmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement ABA therapy programs and techniques as designed by the BCBA.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students in a classroom or therapy setting.
  • Collect and record data on student behavior and progress to inform treatment decisions.
  • Assist in the development and execution of individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure consistent implementation of therapy strategies.
  • Support students in developing social, academic, and behavioral skills.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing evaluation and adjustment of therapy plans.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred).
  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Previous experience working with children, especially those with special needs, is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping students succeed.
