The successful candidate will be expected to handle tasks related to account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and bookkeeping, among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the process of account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Manage accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Handle accounts receivable duties, including the recording and tracking of all incoming payments.
• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to verify the company's records match the bank's records.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online for various bookkeeping tasks and for maintaining updated records.
• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Use Microsoft Excel for various tasks, including the creation of spreadsheets and reports.
• Carry out month-end close duties, ensuring all financial data for the month is accurate and complete.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or similar role
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis
• Experience in using QuickBooks for accounting purposes
• Familiarity with account reconciliation processes and procedures
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately
• Familiarity with Month End Close processes
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work part-time hours
• Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
