Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Controller in Carmel, California. This role primarily involves overseeing and managing various accounting functions within our organization. As an Assistant Controller, you will be expected to maintain and improve our financial systems and procedures, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems to process financial transactions and generate reports.
• Collaborate with ADP - Financial Services to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Operate Concur for travel and expense management.
• Generate financial reports using Crystal Reports for internal and external use.
• Ensure compliance with DCAA regulations in all accounting practices.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
• Oversee billing functions, ensuring all invoices are issued and paid in a timely manner.
• Act as a point of contact for financial inquiries and disputes, resolving issues promptly and professionally.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with Concur software
• Ability to generate and interpret Crystal Reports
• Knowledge of DCAA requirements and standards
• Proficiency in general Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Auditing tasks
• Experience in managing Billing Functions
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Must have a high level of integrity and dependability
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects concurrently.
