Job Title: Full-Time Paraprofessional
Location: Concord, NH
School Year: 2024-2025
Position Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and support students with diverse learning needs.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special needs or learning disabilities.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Support students with daily tasks, such as organization, transitions, and personal care if needed.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans and strategies as directed by the teacher or special education team.
  • Monitor and document student progress; provide feedback and updates to teachers and parents.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and staff to support educational goals and student success.
  • Participate in professional development and training to enhance skills and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree or higher education preferred.
  • Previous experience with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students of diverse needs and backgrounds.
  • Patience, flexibility, and commitment to a positive learning environment.
  • Basic knowledge of educational practices and behavior management techniques.
