Job Posting: Onboarding Specialist (Contract-to-Hire) – Nashville

Position: Onboarding Specialist
Location: Nashville, TN
Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time

Position Summary:

The Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring that new employees have a smooth and engaging transition into our company. You will work closely with HR, hiring managers, and new hires to provide exceptional support and enhance the overall onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute the onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling orientation sessions, preparing onboarding materials, and facilitating introductions.

  • Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed, including background checks, drug screenings, and verification of employment documents.

  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to tailor onboarding plans to meet the needs of different roles and departments.

  • Conduct orientation sessions, provide new employees with information about company policies, culture, and benefits, and address any initial questions or concerns.

  • Maintain accurate records of onboarding activities and track new hire progress to ensure timely completion of onboarding tasks.

  • Assist new hires with setting up necessary accounts, accessing company systems, and navigating initial training programs.

  • Collect feedback from new hires and continuously seek ways to improve the onboarding process based on their input.

  • Provide support to HR and management with any issues or challenges related to the onboarding process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR or onboarding role, with a strong understanding of the onboarding process.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.



Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
