Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our cheese shredding line as machine helpers. In this role, you will be responsible for loading cheese blocks onto a table, feeding them into the shredding machine, and packaging the shredded cheese. This position requires repetitive work and physical labor, ideal for those with a consistent work history in similar environments.

Responsibilities
  • Load cheese blocks onto the table and feed them into the cheese shredding machine.
  • Scoop shredded cheese into film packaging and load it into boxes.
  • Lift filled boxes onto pallets for storage and transportation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety and operational procedures.
Essential Skills
  • 1 year of consistent work history in packaging, warehouse, or similar labor-intensive jobs.
  • Experience with repetitive tasks and physical labor.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and perform manual tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

The work environment is maintained at 55 degrees, ensuring comfortable conditions while working. The dress code requires closed-toe shoes, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and pants. All necessary PPE and uniforms, including hair nets, beard nets, shoe covers, smocks, bump caps, and gloves, are supplied. No jewelry, fake/long nails, or fake eyelashes are permitted. Standard working hours are from 6:20 AM to 3:00 PM, with potential overtime on Friday nights, usually scheduled every other week.
