We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties, including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. This hybrid role (on-site primary) offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.

• Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure financial transparency and compliance.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and AS400 for financial data management and reporting.

• Prepare journal entries to keep track of all business transactions.

• Oversee the month-end close process, including flux analysis and accruals.

• Prepare financial statements to provide a detailed account of the company's financial status.

• Maintain the general ledger to ensure all financial data is accurate.

• Proven experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Comprehensive knowledge of General Ledger management
• Experience in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with Journal Entries and Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of AS400 accounting software
• Ability to prepare Financial Statements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
